An atypical year
The coronavirus pandemic negatively affected several sectors of the economy, but the construction sector, considered essential, continued to work intensely to cope with the high demand amid the lowest interest rates on real estate financing in history. In this scenario, Tecnisa – a reference company in the Brazilian real estate market – resumed its own launches and went shopping: only in the fourth quarter of 2020, it acquired land with a potential PSV of R $ 647 million. In the first three months of this year, it bought another R $ 208 million. At the end of December, the company’s land bank was already R $ 5.3 billion.
Remote access was the best solution
But this was only possible because Tecnisa, in partnership with Venha Pra Nuvem, enabled secure remote access to its employees from all cities in Brazil. The Brazilian developer and construction company currently has 1,795 employees, including administrative and support professionals, construction and technical assistance teams, associated brokers and third parties. Tecnisa initially used the expertise of Venha Pra Nuvem to create a totally secure, monitored virtual environment, with centralized management and backups so that all employees could work from home.
Trusted partnership
Venha Pra Nuvem helped to optimize remote work with the use of virtual desktops infrastructure, offering a secure and accessible platform to employees who could access the company’s systems from anywhere. It was this partnership of trust that enabled Tecnisa to sell R$ 231 million in 2020, to have eight new projects in the final phase of approval at the São Paulo city hall and to have a forecast of launching R$ 1.2 billion and R$ 1.5 billion between 2020 and 2021.
